Lahore: Pakistan has said that it has always taken initiative to resolve Kashmir conflict, but India never responded positively on our call, said a media report on Wednesday.

Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria in his weekly press brief said that his country desires international community to play its role in resolving the Kashmir conflict.

“Pakistan has always taken initiative in view of resolving the conflict, it is India which has never responded positively on Pakistan’s call to resolve Kashmir conflict,” Geo News quoted Zakaria as saying.

“There are three parties to the conflict; Pakistan, India and Kashmir,” he said.

Zakaria also confirmed that Pakistani High Commissioner had a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, however, he clarified that during the meeting Kulbhushan Jadhav visa was not discussed.

Pakistan High Commissioner Sohail Mahmood met Sushma Swaraj in October.
