Srinagar: Reacting to the Prime Minister’s comment that jawans from Himachal are targeted by stone pelters in Kashmir, National Conference (NC) working president Omar Abdullah said that Narendra Modi is highlighting the failure of this ally Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and her administration in J&K.

“On the campaign trail PM Modi highlighting the failure of his ally @MehboobaMufti and her administration,” Mr Abdullah, who is the former chief minister of the state, wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.

Mehbooba-led PDP and BJP are running a coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir.

Mr Modi, while addressing a rally during his campaign trial in Himachal Pradesh (HP) ahead of elections in the state, said that jawans from HP are targeted by stone pelters in Kashmir. Voting for Assembly election in HP will be held across the state on November 9.
