Jammu, Nov 6 : Bi-annual Darbar Move offices on Monday reopened in Jammu.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti took the guard of honour amid the presence of cabinet ministers and bureaucrats.The CM, however, this year too skipped the customary media interaction after opening of move offices.
Meanwhile, Jammu also observed shutdown on Monday on a joint call given by traders, political parties, transporters in protest against failure of PDP-BJP government and alleged anti-Jammu policies.
Tight security arrangements were made to prevent protesters from marching towards the Civil Secretariat around which Section 144 is already imposed by the district administration as preventive measure.
