Jhansi, Nov 15: About 16.5 kg of hemp was recovered from a brother-sister at the railway station here on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off that the two have been waiting on platform 4 along with drugs, a joint team of Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested Shravan and Aksabeni and seized the contraband.

Police said the cost of the hemp in the market would be Rs 80,000.
The duo had brought the contraband from Visakhapatnam and were heading for Delhi.
