Jammu, Nov 15 : Jammu and Kashmir Legal Metrology has suspended operation of two filling stations for violating laws in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Controller Legal Metrology R K Katoch said that departmental team on Tuesday conducted checking of retail outlets at Mand in district Udhampur.
The inspecting team checked retail outlets and other business establishments located along the national highway and detected two of them operating without valid explosive licences, non-displaying of daily sale rates of MS and HSD in their retail premises and non-completion of daily sale records.
The sale operations of Rattan Filling Station and Shiva Filling Station were suspended for violating various provisions of law, said an official.
He said that both the retailers have been booked under relevant provisions of law being enforced by department of Legal Metrology.
