Lhasa, Nov 18: An earthquake of 6.9-magnitude hit Nyingchi in southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region this morning, causing power failure and damaging buildings in a number of villages, Xinhua news agency reported.

There have been no reports of casualties, it said.The epicenter was detected at 29.75 degrees north latitude and 95.
