New Delhi, Nov 20 : The Supreme Court on Monday refused to interfere in the release of the Hindi film “Padmavati.”

The three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra was hearing a plea filed by lawyer Manohar Lal Sharma.

“We could not interfere with the work of the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification),” said the bench comprising Justices A M Khanwilkar and D Y Chandrachud.
