Srinagar, Nov 20 : Property worth crores of rupees has been damaged in a devastating fire in the commercial hub in south Kashmir district of Anantnag early Monday morning, official sources said.
They said that the fire broke out in major commercial hub Cheeni Chowk and Reshi Bazar in #Anantnag, about 55 km from here in Anantnag district at 0200 hours. About a dozen tenders were rushed from different parts of the district to control the leaping flames, clearly visible from a distance.
Sources said that more than a dozen buildings and shops were damaged in the fire which was brought under control after about four hours.
