Srinagar: In its continuous special drive against PSVs, LMVs, two wheelers today Traffic Police City Srinagar seized 57 vehicles at Jehangir Chowk and Hari Singh High Street where violators were creating lot of problems in free flow of traffic. Similar drive was conducted in Bishambarnagar area of Khanyar.

During enforcement work for 25 days from October 22 to November 11 at least 6421 traffic violators were challaned and fine to the tune of Rs. 16,72,678/- were realized from the traffic violators.

Traffic Police City Srinagar is requesting its respected citizens to shun the practice of wrong parking and park their vehicles only at designated parking places to avoid deterrence under law.
