Shimla, Nov 29 : A woman, working with Indira Gandhi Medical College, was duped of Rs 49,000 by some cyber thugs.

In a case lodged here on Tuesday, complainant Ms Ranjana said some cyber thugs hacked her bank account and withdrew the cash from her SBI account.

The complainant has registered her complaint at Cyber police station Ghumerwin in Bilaspur.

The victims got about 30 messages on some ‘OPT INC Taxation purchase’.
No OTP was received on her mobile number when incident occurred at 0300 hrs on Monday night.
