Ganderbal: District police Ganderbal have busted a document scam racket and arrested two prime involved fraudsters.

On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone (KPS), constituted a team headed by ASP Ganderbal Fayaz Hussain and Assisted by Incharge SHO police station Ganderbal DySP (P) Aakash Kohli raided a shop titled as “KAKA” studio’s in Ganderbal and arrested one accused  persons on the spot namely Tawseef Ahmad Sofi son of Farooq Ahmad Sofi of Saloora Ganderbal, another accused person namely Aamir Hassan Rather son of Ghulam Hassan Rather of Saloora Ganderbal was arrested by police.

Later Gandherbal police recovered fake Stamps, forged documents and fake IDs including a computer and computer accessories  from their possession.

In this regard FIR NO.249/2017 U/S 420 was lodged in Police station Ganderbal and two accused are under Police custody and some more arrests are expected as the investigation is underway, police.
