Srinagar, Dec 5 : Two more boys, who had joined militants, have returned home after appeals from their families in the Kashmir valley, where a number of other youths have shunned the path of violence.

Director General of Police (DGP) S P Vaid said on Tuesday that two more boys have returned home after they joined militancy.

Taking to micro-blogging site twitter, Dr Vaid said, โ€œTwo more boys shunned the path of violence and returned home who went astray and joined the ranks of terrorists.

Shunning the path of militancy and joining mainstream started after footballer-turned militant Majid Khan returned home following appeals by his parents, relatives, friends and others through social media.
