Ayodhya, Dec 6 ; With the prohibitory orders in force and unprecedented security cover in the twin cities of Ayodhya-Faizabad following an advisory issued by central intelligence agencies, peace prevailed in the temple town with no untoward incident reported till late afternoon on Wednesday.
Most of the shops and business establishments remained closed during the day.
