Srinagar, Dec 14 : The 300-km-long Srinagar-Jammu national highway, the only road connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the country, reopened on Thursday after remaining closed for three days due to snowfall and landslides.

Meanwhile, the historic Mughal road and highway, linking Ladakh with Kashmir remained closed.

Today traffic will ply from Jammu to Srinagar and no vehicle will be allowed from opposite direction, a traffic police official said this morning.
