Srinagar, Dec 22 : Chairman of moderate Hurriyat Conference (HC) Mirwaiz Moulvi Omar Farooq has been put under house arrest while there was no relief for hardline HC chief Syed Ali Shah Geelani in Srinagar.
However, official sources said restriction on separatists has been imposed to prevent any demonstration.
The Mirwaiz was put under house arrest since Thursday night, a spokesman for the HC said. (UNI)
