New Delhi, Dec 22 : A woman allegedly shot at her brother and mother using her licensed pistol, injuring them in Defence Colony area here, the police said on Friday.
The incident took place on Thursday night after an argument among the three, following which Sangeeta shot at her brother Harsaran and mother Geeta at their residence in Defence Colony with a licensed hand gun.
Sangeeta, the accused has been detained, and is said to be drunk at the time when the incident took place, her licensed weapon has also been seized, according to the police.
The two injured were rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre for treatment, and are reportedly out of danger, the police said.
However, the police is trying to find out the exact reason as to why the argument and the incident took place.
