Srinagar, Dec 26 : Department of Drugs and Food Control Organization (D&FCO) Anantnag during its ongoing drive suspended licenses of 47 retail/wholesale establishments in the district.

It was said that the Department has constituted various teams to conduct comprehensive market checking in the district to curb misuse of psychotropic/habit-forming drugs.

During the drive, chemists were asked to maintain sale and purchase records of various drugs properly and storage conditions of drugs as per the requirement, besides issue bills/ cash memos regularly.

The general public is informed to lodge complaints regarding any violation or discrepancies encountered against any drug sale establishment on Department’s helpline 0194-2495191 or email atdeputycontrollerkashmir@gmail.com. (PTK)
