Sarnath (Varanasi), Dec 30 : Disputes should be resolved through dialogue, not weapons, said Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama here on Saturday.

While inaugurating a two-day conference here on ‘Indian philosophical thoughts and modern science’, Dalai Lama pointed out: “We should realise that we are living in the twenty-first century. We should utilise knowledge and education for resolving disputes. The use of weapons can’t get us a permanent solution to any problem.”
