New Delhi, Jan15 : The National Capital woke up to a chilly morning on Monday with shallow fog and mist, while the minimum temperature settled at 6.4 degrees Celsius, a notch below normal for the season.
As many as thirty-nine trains arriving here were delayed and 13 cancelled due fog and other operational reasons.
The air quality in the city was ‘very poor’ with the index value of 321 at 0900 hrs, according to Central Pollution Control Board.
Sky will remain clear during the day with maximum temperature likely to hover around 25 degrees C, the
weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature settled at 25 degrees C, five points above normal for the season.
The relative humidity at 0830 hrs was 92 per cent.
