New Delhi, Jan 15 : Expressing concern over the gangrape of a woman in a moving car in Faridabad, the Congress on Monday said Haryana has become a ‘crime hub’ under BJP rule.
Taking to Twitter, AICC media In charge Randeep Surjewala said, ‘Under the rule of the BJP, Haryana has become a crime hub. Misbehaviour with daughters of the state every day is shaming humanity. With molestation and rapes continuing unabated, the Khattar government has not done anything to improve the law and order situation.
Today, Haryana is at number one position in terms of gangrape. In 2016, 1198 rapes were reported while there were 191 gangrapes and 4019 cases of abduction.
Under the Khattar government, there have been on an average 3 murders a day, 3 rapes per day and 11 abductions per day. It is time to throw out the Khattar government, Mr Surjewala said.
