Srinagar, Jan 16 : Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that cancellation of Poonch. Jammu- Rawlakote, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) bus service on Monday reflects the tense situation on the Line of Control (LoC).

The bus service was suspended yesterday after five Pak soldiers were killed and several injured in retaliatory action by Indian troops in Kotli area of Jandrot near LoC.

Taking to micro-blogging site twitter the working president of the main opposition National Conference (NC) Mr Abdullah said “  These days this bus operating normally is more the exception than the norm. It’s a reflection of the tense times on the LoC in J&K”.

He was reacting to reports that amid escalating border tension, bus services between Poonch & Rawalkot suspended.

However, the weekly peace bus “Karvan-e-Aman” between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, capital of POK, operated normally yesterday despite killing of five Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) infiltrators in Uri sector.
