Srinagar, Jan 17: Hundreds of heavy vehicles, including those carrying essentials and oil tankers, left different parts of Jammu for Kashmir valley as only one-way Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) traffic will continue on the 300-km-long Srinagar-Jammu highway till further orders.
However, Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) traffic will ply from both Srinagar and Jammu with some restrictions, a traffic police official told UNI on Wednesday morning.
He said as the road widening and repair work continued at several places, particularly between Ramban and Ramsu, only one-way HMV traffic was possible to avoid any traffic jam and accidents.
