Jammu, Jan 19 : National Conference Working President Omar Abdullah on Friday batted for Indo-Pak talks to end ceasefire violations on international border and the Line of Control.

‘It’s a matter of grave concern (ceasefire violations) that civilians are being targeted when we are suppose to have ceasefire as a Confidence Building Measure between India and Pakistan as the situation is worrisome,’ Mr Abdullah said here outside the Legislative Assembly.

He said, “Just the other day we have a brave BSF jawan who laid down his life in the duty hours and across the border on the LoC also there is a regular ceasefire violation.”
