SRINAGAR, JAN 28 : Chairman PDF and MLA Khansahib Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen Sunday termed the Shopian killing as “mayhem”.
In a statement he said that the unchecked killings of civilians was a cause of serious concern for all peace loving people. He has expressed concern over failure of the government to check the human rights violations in the state.
He also questioned government’s claims about zero tolerance against the civilian casualties.
Ridiculing the government for its utter failure to rein in violators of SOP, he said, “How long it will deceive people by announcing inquiry after enquiry for killings of innocents day-in and day-out.”
“Enough is enough. This naked dance of death and mayhem should stop,” Hakeem Yaseen said. (PTK)
