Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, Jan 31 : Two people were killed on the spot and four others injured when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided with a lorry on the National Highway between Thandvai and Pasra in this district on Wednesday.
The victims, hailing from Aswapuram Mandal in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district, were proceeding to Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara when the accident occurred, police said.
The deceased were identified as P Anjaiah (50) and his son Naveen (23).
The injured were shifted to a nearby Area Hospital for treatment.
A case has been registered and investigation is underway, police added.
