Srinagar, Feb 1 : Despite rain, the national highway, connecting the Kashmir valley with the rest of the country, was through for two-way light and one-way heavy vehicle traffic while Sadhna and Razdan passes remained closed as there was fresh snowfall during the past 24 hours.

The national highway linking Ladakh region with Kashmir and historic Mughal road, remained closed since last month due to accumulation of snow and slippery road conditions.

Two-way Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) traffic continued on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway while Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) traffic will only ply from Srinagar to Jammu on Thursday, a traffic police official told UNI.
