Dhaka, Feb 6 : Switzerland will give an additional aid of 12 million francs ( $12 point 9 million) for the Rohingyas, who fled to Bangladesh facing persecution in Western Rakhine state. Swiss President Alain Berset, who is now in Dhaka on an official visit, made the announcement on Monday after official talks with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
In a joint statement, he pledged his country’s full support to Bangladesh on the issue.
