Train service resumes in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 10 : Train service resumed on Saturday after remaining suspended on Friday for security reasons in the Kashmir valley, where separatists had called for a general strike on the 5th death anniversary of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.

‘We have resumed train service in the Kashmir valley after receiving a fresh advisory from the police last night’, a railway official told UNI this morning.

He said no train operated in the Kashmir valley yesterday for security reasons.
