Srinagar, Feb 11: Train services were again suspended on Sunday for security reasons in the Kashmir valley, where separatists have called for a general strike on the death anniversary of Mohammad Maqbool Bhat, founder of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF).

Bhat was hanged and later buried in Delhi’s Tihar jail on this day in 1984.

‘We have again suspended train services in the Kashmir valley on receiving a fresh advisory from police last night,’ a railway official told UNI this morning.
