Port Elizabeth, Feb 13 : Rohit Sharma’s 115 rode India to end the first innings at 274-7 from their 50 overs during the fifth ODI against South Africa here on Tuesday.

South Africa elected to bowl first after winning the toss. Shikhar Dhawan went on the offensive with some fine boundaries but fell in the 8th over at 34 runs. Following his dismissal, Rohit and Virat Kohli scored 105-run partnership for the fourth wicket. However, the Indian Captain was dismissed at 36.

Despite loss of wickets, Rohit continued his batting proficiency and scored his 17th ODI century, hitting ten boundaries and four sixes.
