SRINAGAR, FEB 13 : In its drive against social crimes a Police party of Police Station Nowgam on a tip off raided a gambling site near Nowgam Chowk and arrested three gamblers identified as Jehangir Ahmad Rather son of Mohd Din resident of Batote, Ab Majeed Hajam son of Ali Mohd resident of Hajam Mohalla Nowgam and Ajaz Ahmad Lone son of Gh Mohd resident of Ramsoo. Stake money of Rs 10000/= and gambling cards were recovered from their possession.
In this connection case FIR No. 13/2018 under section 13 Gambling Act was registered and investigation was taken up. (PTK)
