Srinagar: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) on Wednesday hailed finance minister Haseeb A Drabu for signing the first ever Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) agreement with Dubai Ports (DP) group CEO Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem in Dubai.
In a statement, KCCI president, Javid Ahmad Tenga while hailing government, particularly Dr Haseeb Drabu said that there was a need to create such a facility in the state.
“As it is most essential element of logistics required to enhance the scope for growth of our export oriented business, be that the export of handicraft, horticulture, agriculture, floriculture or any other allied product worldwide,” he said.
