Biharsharif, Feb 14 : Two labourers were killed and three others injured when they were hit by a speeding pick-up van near Bajarachak village under Katrisarai police station area in Nalanda district today.
Police said here that the pick-up van hit five labourers on Katrisarai-Giriyak road when they were returning to their residences after their work, killing one of them on the spot and leaving four others injured.
Sources said that the injured were admitted to Biharsharif Sadar Hospital where one more labourer died during treatment.
The deceased were identified as Kishan Manjhi (50) and Jato Manjhi (48).
Police said that the injured labourers had been identified as Sheetal Manjh, Bundel Manjhi and Vishun Manjhi.
