Kasganj Feb 18 : Three people were killed and seven others injured when a speeding car mowed down pedestrians in Patiyali area in this district of Uttar Pradesh. Police sources said here that a car, coming from Aliganj, ran over nearly 12 people late on Saturday night, killing three of them on the spot and severely injuring seven others. The deceased were identified as Ramgopal (65), Mehtab (70) and Satish (35). The injured were rushed to Saifai hospital where three of them were stated to be critical. Driver of the car fled the scene after the accident, police said, adding that a manhunt was launched to nab the driver.
