31 employees suspended in Budgam

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir government suspended 31 employees for remaining unauthorized absent from duty on Tuesday in the central Kashmir district of Badgam, officials said.

They said Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Badgam, Mohammad Farooq Dar conducted a surprise visit to different offices, including Power Development Department (PDD), Public Health Engineering (PHE), Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CA&PD), Chief Education Office (CEO), fisheries, Sheep Husbandry and Assistant Commissioner Development.

During the checking 31 employees were found absent who were later suspended, they said.
