Srinagar, March 31: A special Police Officer (SPO) was injured critically after attacked by suspected mikitants in Khanbal area of South Kashmir’s Anatnang district.

Official sources told News agency GNS that the gunmen opened fire upon SPO Turag Singh in Khanbal. In the incident the SPO sustained critical bullet wounds and has been shifted District hospital Anantnag for treatment.

A police officer confirmed the incident and said that the cop was regulating traffic when he was fired upon. (GNS)
