‘Amir was battling for life for last one week at ICU of SKIMS’
Srinagar, Apr 15 : Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Sunday expressed his grief over the death of Amir, who succumbed to injuries on Sunday morning at SKIMS, Hospital in Srinagar.
Mirwaiz wrote on twitter: “Deeply grieved as AamirLone(21) shot at by forces during Gowhars funeral at #Kangan succumbed to his injuries today after battling for life for 12 days .. we lost one more budding youth to Indian states aggressive military approach to deal with #Kashmir dissent ! (sic).”
Amir had sustained serious injuries during clashes and was battling for life for last one week at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of SKIMS.
