Srinagar: The J&K Awami Aawaz Party in a statement has lambasted anti-Islamic remarks of “Social Activist” Yana Mirchandani.
J&K Awami Aawaz Party stated that Yana Mirchandani claims herself an activist, while protesting against the acid throwing incident in Srinagar, had stated “women have every right to opt for divorce, to break the engagement and even to have a boyfriend even after the marriage, and these remarks are totally unIslamic and can harm the peace and law and order situation.
Suhail Ahmad Khan, J&K Awami Aawaz Party President made it clear that religion of Islam is very dear to all of us, and in the garb of criminal acid attack we won’t allow so-called activists to hurt the religious sentiments of the masses.
J&K Awami Aawaz Party hoped that Yana Mirchandani would ask for forgiveness from all the masses of Kashmir over his nonsense remarks.
Earlier, Mufti Azam Jammu and Kashmir Mufti Nasir ul Islam denounced the Extramarital Affair comments of Yana.
Pertinent to mention here, in her latest video said that her statement was presented in a wrong manner, adding, I seek apology if I have hurt the religious sentiment of masses.
