On the charges of ‘misconduct’ the government has suspended a Lecturer post in one of the educational institutes in North Kashmir.
 
 Principal Secretary to the Government, Alok Kumar issued an order in this regard that reads: “Pending enquiry into his conduct, Nazir-ul-Hussain Shah, Lecturer Environmental Science under orders of transfer at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Sogam Kupwara is hereby placed under suspension, with immediate effect, in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956. During the period of suspension, the said lecturer shall remain attached in the office of Chief Education Officer, Kupwara.”
     
“It is further ordered that the Director, School Education Kashmir, shall conduct an inquiry into the misconduct of non-compliance by the said lecturer and shall submit the report along with recommendation to the Administrative Department within 10 days.” [KNT]
