Police today booked a person for creating disturbance and sharing videos with false allegations in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
On micro-blogging platform X, the Srinagar Police wrote, "Srinagar Police takes cognizance against the family members of a notorious criminal namely Noor Mohd Bhat R/o Kondenpeth Nigeen for creating disturbance in PS Nigeen & sharing videos with false allegations/ misinformation on Social Media platforms.
Pertinently, Noor Mohd Bhat is involved in criminal activities like usury, extortion, kidnappings etc. posing a threat to public order & he has been detained under PSA due to multiple FIRs lodged against him by the public, reads the post.(GNS)
