AIP State Secretary Sheikh Ashiq joined the JKSA protest at Jantar Mantar, voicing concerns over shrinking opportunities for Jammu and Kashmir's youth.

"With 69% of Jammu and Kashmir's population in the general category, their opportunities are being unfairly reduced. We are not against reservation but demand fairness and balance," Sheikh Ashiq stated.

He reaffirmed AIP's commitment to justice, inspired by its incarcerated President and MP Er Rashid, emphasizing, "The youth deserve a system that values equity and merit while addressing aspirations without bias."

The protest underscored the urgent need for inclusive and equitable reservation policies.
