A combined convention of the Jammu Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF) and Pensioners United Front (JKLPUF) was held in Samba, District Jammu, on February 3, 2025, under the chairmanship of Ab Qayoom Wani.

The convention focused on a wide range of societal issues, including drug abuse, social evils, and the legitimate concerns of pensioners and senior citizens in Jammu and Kashmir.

In his address, Wani emphasized the need for a united struggle to address these challenges. He assured the participants that both organizations would work together to strengthen their efforts and meet society's expectations. "Our organization is committed to action and social reformation," Wani said, highlighting the group's dedication to helping those in need.

He further mentioned that the issues related to social welfare had been raised with the government and expressed hope for their urgent resolution. Wani also praised the leaders from the Kashmir division for attending the convention at their own expense, demonstrating unity in action. He extended his gratitude to the leaders from Samba, Kutwa, and Jammu for their cooperation, respect, and support.
