Jammu and Kashmir National Health Mission Employees Association (JKNHMEA) has decided to step back from it’s protest scheduled on Saturday, after the administration released pending salaries here on Thursday evening.

“In view of the recent release of salary the JK NHM Employees Association has decided to postpone the protest scheduled for Saturday, 29th March 2025 at the Chief Minister’s residence,” Chief Spokesperson JKNHMEA Abdul Rauoof said in a statement issued to Alfaaz – The Words.

“While this development offers temporary relief, the association remains committed to pursuing permanent solutions to prevent such delays in the future,” reads the statement.

“A core committee meeting will be convened after Eid to discuss the ongoing challenges faced by NHM employees and explore actionable resolutions to address their hardships,” the statement further reads.
