Abdul Qayoom Wani, Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF) and Jammu and Kashmir Pensioners United Front (JKPUF), extended heartfelt Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the people, particularly the Muslim Ummah, on behalf of both organizations.

Celebrating the end of Ramadan—a month of fasting, piety, and discipline—he emphasized that Eid embodies compassion, sacrifice, and support for the underprivileged.

Wani called for a renewed focus on uplifting the needy, ensuring no one is left hungry or deprived, and urged traders to practice honesty with fair pricing and ethical dealings in line with Islamic values. “Eid is a time for joy and a moral duty to foster justice, kindness, and communal harmony,” he said, encouraging solidarity with the oppressed and a commitment to righteousness.

He concluded with prayers for peace, prosperity, and strength, wishing all an “Eid Mubarak.”
